-It’s pouring outside. (raining heavily).

-They’re calling for blue skies all week.
 

2. Conversation about weather

 
Situation 1: Jessica and Isak talk about the weather and going ouside.
 
Isak:  Do you want to go out and have some fun?
Jessica: Yes, that would be great.
Isak: I want to go to Ho Chi Minh Book Street which is located in Hai Ba Trung street.
Jessica: Yeah, that was a good idea! But we should watch the weather forecast first before going to there.
Isak: Sure! It’s autumn and the weather might not be very good for walking outside.
Jessica: It looks as if it might rain soon. There has been some drizzle this morning.
Isak: We can wear out coats. It’s been overcast for weeks.
Jessica: Ok, but if it starts to snow we have to go inside, alright.
 
 
 
 
Situation 2: Alex and Tom talk about weather and office
 
Alex: Hey, Tom! Are you coming to work today?
Tom: Of course, why are you calling, Alex?
Alex:  It’s just raining really hard where i am now. The road is already flooded.
Tom: Really!  You should probably stay home. It is really dangerous to travel in such weather.
Alex: Let me wait and see, by the way, what is the weather like at your place?
Tom: It is gloomy and pretty windy,  but I do not think it will rain. The clouds do not seem that heavy to me.
Alex: I see. Can you go to work first and tell me what the weather is like at the office?
Tom: Sure thing. If it rains too hard, you can work online, you know?
Alex: I know, but there is a really important meeting at the office today and I do not want to miss it.
Tom: Anyway, thank you very much. You’re welcome Alex. I will let you know once i get there awesome, I’ll be waiting for your call.
